Technique & Working
Inside the scarf is a string of beads with two large circular beads at the ends, which help control the scarf.
Preparation
- Roll up the scarf and place it in your pocket. No setup is required.
Procedure
1. Introduction:
- Take the scarf from your pocket.
- Hold the end with the smaller beads and stroke the scarf a few times to show it’s empty.
2. Vertical Suspension:
- Hold the scarf at the end with the smaller beads using your left hand.
- Stroke it vertically downward with your right hand.
- After a couple of strokes, secretly grab hold of the two large beads.
- Press and slightly separate the two large beads to create tension in the string.
- The scarf will now stay upright. Slowly release your top hand while maintaining the tension.
3. Command to Fall:
- Whenever you like, release the tension between the two beads, and the scarf will fall.
4. Conclusion:
- Roll up the scarf and place it back in your pocket as the audience is amazed by the mystery.
