Technique & Working

Inside the scarf is a string of beads with two large circular beads at the ends, which help control the scarf.

Preparation

- Roll up the scarf and place it in your pocket. No setup is required.

Procedure

1. Introduction:

   - Take the scarf from your pocket.

   - Hold the end with the smaller beads and stroke the scarf a few times to show it’s empty.

2. Vertical Suspension:

   - Hold the scarf at the end with the smaller beads using your left hand.

   - Stroke it vertically downward with your right hand.

   - After a couple of strokes, secretly grab hold of the two large beads.

   - Press and slightly separate the two large beads to create tension in the string.

   - The scarf will now stay upright. Slowly release your top hand while maintaining the tension.

3. Command to Fall:

   - Whenever you like, release the tension between the two beads, and the scarf will fall.

4. Conclusion:

   - Roll up the scarf and place it back in your pocket as the audience is amazed by the mystery.
