​How to perform the Flower Wallet

Props:

• Flower Wallet: Made of stiff board with satin ribbons on top and bottom edges, and a cartridge paper interior folded multiple times.

• Spring Flowers: Required number of spring flowers in matching colors.

Setup:

1. Prepare the Wallet:

   • Open the wallet to find one flower.

   • Open again to find two flowers.

   • Close and open from the other side to find three flowers.

   • Close and open from the other side to find four flowers.

   • This is the end of the inside paper.

2. Load Spring Flowers:

   • First Load: Fold four flowers of the same color and place them between the covers. Fold the wallet.

   • Second Load: Open the wallet from the opposite direction and place three flowers of the same color. Fold the wallet.

   • Third Load: Open the wallet from the opposite direction and place two flowers of the same color. Fold the wallet.

   • Final Load: Open the wallet from the opposite direction and place the single flower that is left. Fold the wallet.

Performance:

1. Start: Open the wallet from the right side, showing it empty.

2. First Flower: Close it casually, say your patter or give magical passes, and open it from the other side to reveal one flower.

3. Subsequent Flowers: Repeat the process:

   • Close and open from the other side to reveal two flowers.

   • Close and open from the other side to reveal three flowers.

   • Close and open from the other side to reveal four flowers.

Tips:

• Avoid Showing Edges: Avoid showing the edges of the wallet to prevent the slight bulge from being detected by keen observers.
